Ho ho ho ho...
A little boy with blue clothes and a monkey's tail, armed only with a small wooden stick, stalked through the woods, following a lone bear.
Far above, floating in mid-air were three figures watching the little boy.
Freezer: "No, Dodoria-san. He did not kill me...Trunks did. But still, HE was the cause of my defeat...Son Goku..."

Freezer: "Zarbon-san...It would be useless to kill him here as my present form and shape would not be altered...nor would history..."
Zarbon: " -Nor would history-, sama?"
Freezer: "No, Zarbon-san...History has been...destroyed..."
Dodoria(raising an eyebrow): "Nani?"
Freezer: "This is but one dimension, my followers. There is an infinity of them. In each of them, history unfolds differently...and because of one person, the fabric of the Universe, and therefore all dimensions, will be destroyed."
Zarbon: "!"
Dodoria: "I'm not sure I'm getting it, Boss."
Freezer: "For instance, you, Dodoria-san."
Dododria: "Me?"
Freezer: "Yes, you...in another dimension, you were far from being as stupid as you are now..."
Dodoria: "Really?"
Freezer: "Yes..."
Freezer: "Here." Freezer raised his arm above Dodoria's head and snapped his fingers.
Freezer: "There."
Dodoria: "Sama! This is...incredible! Arigatou gozaimasu!"
Zarbon: "Sama! How...did you...? He doesn't sound as dumb, now!"
Freezer: "The Sage has given me the powers of his Apprentices...I am now one of them, the Fourth Apprentice...I can reshape the world...the galaxy...the Universe...I can defeat any one in single combat...I can defeat EVERYONE all at once in combat...except for the other three Apprentices...but still...I AM A GOD!"
Zarbon and Dodoria: "!"
Freezer: "Yet, I cannot stop what is happenning...all dimensions are converging towards one...one single dimension...the heart of these events...what is now the focal point of the Universe."
Freezer: "We will need to go to that dimension."
Zarbon: "Why?"
Freezer: "I believe there I will find what I am looking for."
Dodoria: "Freezer-sama, seeing the one who defeated you makes me want to kill him, and seeing he is a mere Saiyajin urges me to do so. I request some "exercice"..."
Freezer: "Killing him would accomplish nothing. I will send you to the future. There, yo will help the son of Son Goku and destroy the Androids attacking him."
Dodoria: "But why would we want to help Son Goku's son?"
Freezer: "If I am correct, we do not wish to anger Son Goku..." A weak smile escaped his lips.
Freezer: "Go now, my followers. Help Son Goten, son of Son Goku. I will join you shortly." With a movement of his arm, Freezer created a swirling purple vortex in thin air.
Freezer: "This will lead you to him."
Zarbon and Dodoria: "Hai, sama!" In turn, they both went through the magical portal. Afterwards, the portal disappeared.
Freezer: "..."
Freezer: "The fate of the Universe...and my own...are in my hands now..."
Freezer: "I had always thought I had control over my own fate...but not anymore..."
Freezer: "...Son Goku..."
Freezer: "...you died..."
Freezer: "If you really are one of us, how did you let this happen..."
Freezer: "...Could I be...wrong?..."
Gohan, Piccolo, Radditz, Neo17 and Neo18 were spying on the other Androids, hidden behind a small nearby hill. From the rendez-vous point in Der, they were able to consult a map of the world, indicating the location of Sector 700 and so they had flown to the designated area. Copper was further away, guarding the unconscious Raven and Gale. The Androids had set up some strange electronic equipment in this deserted valley, and were busy monitoring the consoles and finishing setting up everything.
Neo17 (whispering): "They're building something."
Neo18 (whispering): "Oh you're a lot of help."
Gohan (whispering): "Quiet! Yes, they're building something, we don't know what, and it can't be good."
Gohan (whispering): "What are they saying?"
Piccolo (whispering): "The equipment is not functionning correctly. One says that something is wrong."
Piccolo (whispering): "One wishes that..."Pioneer"...could have been there to control..."the flow"..."
Neo17 (whispering): "What does it mean?" Piccolo shook his head.
Gohan (whispering): "Look!" The Z senshi and Freedom Army then arrived, ready for battle.
Piccolo: "Let's try to get them by the other side."
Gohan: "Right." The commando quickly moved around the valley, and finally came out behind the Androids, thus surrounding them.
Vulcan: "It seems you are now trapped."
Goku: "Gohan!...and Kamiccolo-sama!"
Gohan: "Tousan!"
Piccolo: "It's "Piccolo"..."
Clockwork: "Well...you all think you've won now and that there's no way for us to escape? You're probably right..."
Clockwork: "...You must be thinking that, because of how many you are, we have no chance to win in a fight. You may be right..."
Clockwork: "...But what you don't know is that we have succeeded!"
Gohan: "In doing what?"
Clockwork: "In bringing to life the greatest leader the Androids could ever have..."
Star: "What?" Viking pulled a lever on the main console behind Clockwork. Massive energy build-ups illuminated the area.
Clockwork: "Behold! The perfect Android leader is now with us! WE WILL BE VICTORIOUS!!!!"
Clockwork: "...PERFECT CELL!!!"
The high helmet...
The distinctive wings...
It was Cell.
Clockwork: "...joined with a superior mind!"
Clockwork: "A NEW Perfect Cell is born!"
Vegita (grinning): "Finally someone worth fighting!!!"
The warrior had arrived.
The leader had arrived.
He looked around...looking lost...
Then...
Goku: "Something's wrong here..."
Vegita: "...No!"
Gohan: "I have a very bad feeling..."
Vegita: "EVERYONE! GET OUTA HERE!!!!!" He turned tail, ready to flee.
Cell: "YOU FOOLS!"
Goku: "That laugh..."
Vegita: "It's..."
Goku: "It's Freezer's laugh!"
Only Cell, Freezer and those inside the Barrier survived this Apocalypse.
Freezer and Cell looked at each other for a few seconds, after which Cell frowned...and vanished.
Looking back at Son Goku, Freezer snapped his fingers...
...and the Earth, the Sun...and all those who had been killed by Cell were returned.
Now over solid ground, Freezer dropped the Barrier, releasing everyone.
Vegita: "Masaka..." He dropped to his knees, feeling the strengh of his old foe reborn.
Goku: "You wanna fight!"
Freezer: "No...I believe you know what I am now...and if so, you are one too..."
Goku: "What?"
Freezer: "Are you an Apprentice, Son Goku?"
Goku: "A what? An Apprentice? What's that?"
Freezer: "You must be one of us! You were stronger than I...thus the Sage must have chosen you as well..."
Goku: "What are you talking about?"
Piccolo: "!"
Freezer: "Why did you not use your power? Why let yourself be killed and let your precious Earth be destroyed by him?"
Vegita(to Freezer): "You are like...him?"
Piccolo: "Bakana...Freezer and Son Goku would have the same powers?"
Goku: "What's going on? I don't get it!"
Piccolo: "Freezer...if I understand what you are trying to say, then Son Goku has not found his other self in this dimension yet, and thus, has not reached his full potential."
Freezer: "I know about your "other selves"...But HE does not need one."
Piccolo: "But he does not know about his powers either. He has never used them. He only used them in the other dimension."
Freezer: "The other dimension?"
Piccolo: "If we could find Son Goku's double, he could have all his powers back."
Freezer: "You seem to know much about him...I cannot know where the other Apprentices are...but you seem to have met one before...and he was Son Goku..."
Piccolo: "I believe so."
Goku(whispering): "Do you get any of this, Gohan?"
Gohan: "I think I do."
Gohan: "Tousan, in the other dimension, you came to us with godly powers and you destroyed Broli. Only it would seem that Freezer has the same powers..."
Vegita: "Why did you save us, Freezer?"
Freezer: "You shall call me Freezer-sama, Vegita-chan...Ho ho ho..." Vegita raged inwardly.
Freezer: "If my assumptions are correct, Son Goku is one of the Apprentices. I could not let him be destroyed, not here. Saving you was...a coincidence."
Clockwork: "That was it..." All turned to him.
Clockwork: "The one we summoned...he is your nemesis, right?"
Freezer: "He...is the First Apprentice. Because of you, the Universe will be destroyed. You have awakened the only demon who had it in his power...I, along with the other two Apprentices, must see to it that he is annihilated...permanently."
Clockwork: "How I gained access to him...I do not know...I knew he would be strong...the strongest...Installing him in an Android Body would have made him the Perfect Leader..."
Freezer: "Instead, you simply sealed history's fate. Living and breathing organisms are imperfect...but machines made by them...are even worse..."
Freezer: "I must find the other two Apprentices and defeat him."
Gohan: "And my father is one of them!"
Freezer: "I believe so. Only, he does not know his powers. This is intriguing...and untimely."
Vegita: "Freezer, how did you gain these powers?" Freezer turned to him with a cold stare.
Freezer: " A Sage, in the Land of the Dead, gave them to me, so I would kill the First apprentice for him. I suggest you to be more polite. With a mere thought, I can make your miserable existence even more miserable..." Vegita swallowed with difficulty. Vulcan interfered.
Vulcan: "Perhaps we could go back to headquarters, and you could explain all of this more...thoroughly." The Androids approached them.
Clockwork: "Seeing we failed to create our leader, and seeing that beings with such power exist, I do not find any more reason to conquer the planet...or live, for that matter. I, and my followers, would be interested in accompanying you, if you see no inconvenience." Vulcan looked uneasy upon hearing the request. He turned to Star for advice, but before she could speak, Vegita was heard.
Vegita: "No matter. I can destroy these worthless shits with one hand tied behind my back!"
Freezer: "Vegita...you were once my loyal servant...strong, polite, orderly, obedient...look what you have become. See what you look like, hear how you speak! Such foul language! Son Goku is a better Prince of the Saiyajin then you are."
Freezer: "See what I mean?" Freezer then released him. Vegita calmed down and turned his head toward the horizons.
Vegita: "Hm!" He silently, and slowly, flew away from the group. None dared to stop him.
Freezer: "This should get him thinking. He has no honor anymore. He has lost it to his pride. To regain it, he will have to learn to accept... fate."
Vulcan: "Freezer-sama, will you join us?"
Freezer: "I am not a "good guy", terran, but I will. I need Son Goku's help, and it seems only I can help him as well."
