A concept I want to explore in this story is the musical aspect of Dragon Ball. To give
a feeling or mood to the characters, each one will be briefly described the first time
he/she is met. The Z senshi are already well known so they will be presented as soon
as they appear. A new character will be described only when the Z senshi learn his/her
name and affiliation. In each description will be a line called Theme song: and a
song name will be given. Songs come from the animated series, movies, video games, as well as
a few other sources (like Konami's Castlevania/Demon Castle Dracula series).
However, youll have to find the songs yourselves. I will not provide them. A DB song with an
 * next to the name means that you shouldn't care about the songs lyrics since they make no
sense or have no link with the character the song is given to. Songs with an * are given to
characters because their beat and overall feeling match the mood and feel of the character.
Songs without an * mean that the lyrics can be of interest if you can understand at least
some Japanese. Now remember, music is unnecessary to read and understand the
story. It just helps to understand the character and temper of people in it. If you dont like
or do not want to listen to DB or other suggested songs, then forget about that whole idea and
concentrate on the text.
Finally, a glossary of terms used in DBC:
Arigatou: Means Thanks .
Kemonojinsei: The planet where Goku went to to train Oob in Dimensions.
Bakana!: Translates to Thats ridiculous! or Thats stupid! but can be used to
mean Impossible! or I dont believe it! .
Bakemono: Means Monster . Used as an insult.
Buruma: Called Bulma .
Cyborgs: The Jinzouningen made by Dr Gero. Also known as Artificial Humans.
Dash: Verb (To dash). "Run through the air on one foot".
Doumo: Means Thank you (stronger than arigatou ).
Doumo-arigatou: Means Thank you very much (strongest).
Energy-dan: Common fireball. Actual term used in the SFC fighting games.
Hawkman: A man with feathery wings on his back.
Jin: Term used to talk about someone belonging to a race or a planet (ex.: Nameckjin,
Saiyajin). Also the name of Broli's child form in Dimensions.
Kamesennin: Also refered to as Master Roshi, Mutenroshi or the Turtle Master.
Kaasan: Means Mom .
Ki: The power or fighting spirit of the warrior.
Kisama: Term that means you , but in a disrespectful way, more like you bastard .
Konnichi-wa: Means Hi! . Used in the morning and after-noon.
Konban-wa: Means Hi! . Used in the evening.

Otousan: Means Father .
Piccolo: Name I use to talk about Piccolos son, his fusion with Nail and his fusion with
Kami-sama.
Piccolo Daimaou: The original Piccolo, the evil half of Kami-sama. Daimaou means
Big Demon King but I prefer to see it as Great Lord of the Demons (sounds
better, doesnt it?).
Radittsu: Called Radditz .
Sama: Term used to talk about someone much more important than yourself or someone
you are devoted to (ex.: Kami-sama). Cannot be used to talk of oneself (unless you
think of yourself as being the most important and the most powerful being in the whole
universe...). Translates to Master .
San: Term used to talk of someone with respect (ex.: Piccolo-san!). Cannot be used to
talk of oneself. Translates to Mister or Honorable .
Scouter: Device placed over the left ear and eye. Allows seeing the power of someone
and the distance that person is standing from the scouter. Also acts as communicator.
Mostly used by Freezers army and the Saiyajin people. Available in many different
colors! Cleaning kit sold seperatly. While supplies last!
In DBC, the Enhanced Scouter
allows one to read the potential power of someone or an energy blast.
Sei: Used to talk about a planet (ex.: Vegitasei).
Senshi: Means fighter or warrior (ex.: Z senshi).
Tigirl (Tai-girl): A girl whos also half-tiger. Looks like a japanese catgirl with tiger
stripes.
Tousan: Means Dad .
I hope you will greatly enjoy Dragon Ball Chaotic.
