Tigirl: " Trus' me on this one. "

Hawkman: " That's easy for ya ta say. If Efreet or Jinn find us, I'm not responsible. "

Tigirl: " So what? If they find us, we're dead. "

Hawkman: " Don't ya think that's a nice enough reason for us ta get out! I'm still not sure this here's the place! "

Tigirl: " It IS the right place, 'kay? The Book said so. "

Hawkman: " What if the Book's wrong? "

Tigirl: " Has it ever? "

Hawkman: " ... "

Tigirl: " Great! So now ya can stop talkin' and open the door...quietly! "

The two slowly opened the door and came face to face with yet another door.

Tigirl: " If ya don't think what we're doin' is good 'nough, ya can go back and explain it ta Vulcan! "

Hawkman: " He won't like it! Hey! What ya doin'? "

Tigirl: " Checkin' if the door's still workin'. "

Hawkman: " After all them years ya don't think doors still work in here, do ya? "

Tigirl: " I'm readin' energy levels. It works. "

Hawkman: " Really? Then how do ya suppose we get in? "

Tigirl: " The Book says it all. It even gives us the access code. "

After pushing a few buttons on the door's keypad, the door started to move as clouds of dust rose all around it.

Hawkman: " Well, we came this far... "

Tigirl: " That's the spirit! Now, the Book says it should be ta our left. "

Passing through the doorway, the two people turned left, more clouds of dust rising with each of their steps.

Hawkman: " That's it? Are ya sure? " The Tigirl turned to him with a confident, yet seductive smile, proudly showing her certitude.

Tigirl: " C'mon. " She went to what seemed to be the device's main hatch and pushed some more buttons on the keypad besides it.

Tigirl: " 4 - 6 - 7 - 3. That should do it. " The main hatch slowly opened.

Tigirl: " Let's get in. "

Hawkman (reading his scouter): " We better move fast. We'er gonna have company! "

Tigirl: " Workin' this thing shouldn't be a problem. " She sat in what seemed to be the command chair and started activating the controls.

Tigirl (after a few seconds): " All set. Ya ready? "

Hawkman: " As I'll ever be. "

Tigirl: " Here we go! "

Chapter I: Scoutered Beasts

Thirteen years have passed since the appearence of Majin Boo. Since that faithful battle, the Z senshi have been living their lives peacefully...er..well...

Bra: " I dunno... "

Bulma (impatient): " Where is she? She told me she'd be here...Oh there she is! "

Chichi: " Hi there, Bra! "

Bulma: " I AM here! "

Chichi: " Bulma? Is that you? "

Bulma: " Of course it's me! So, how do I look? "

Chichi: " You look...young! How did you... "

Bulma: " Simple! I finally decided to use the Dragon Balls to give me back my youth! I'm now physically 16 years old! Ain't that great? "

Chichi (mouth wide open): " ... "

Chichi: " W...what made you make your decision? "

Bulma: " Well, seeing Vegita grow mentally but not physically made me think. He's not going to die for a while so I might as well stay here too! "

Chichi: " ...yeah... "

Bulma: " You oughta try it! "

Chichi: " I'll think about it...Ah! There's Goku-san. "

Goku (disbelieving): " Bu...Bu...Bulma? You...You've grown backwards!! "

Bulma: " Goku...I used the Dragon Balls to recover my youth, silly. It's like if I was 16 again! "

Goku: " Ha ha! You look like when we first met! "

Bulma: " Who's in the tournament? "

Goku: " I know Oob, Goten and Pan are participating. " Chichi hated the way Goku seemed to prefer Oob to Goten.

Bulma: " Trunks is supposed to come and I thought Vegita would also try...that is if you participated... "

Goku: " Well, I'm not going to. "

Bulma: " Seems like Vegita guessed that. It doesn't look like he came... "

Trunks (appearing out of nowhere): " Kaasan. "

Trunks: " Gomen. I registered, met Goten, Oob and Pan and the preliminary rounds are about to start so I'm off. "

Bulma: " Good luck! "

Trunks: " Yeah. " And he flew away as fast as he came...

Bulma: " Well, let's get to the stands, I don't want to lose our seats to some bozoes... "

Bra: " You say it's fun, mommy? "

Bulma: " You'll like it I tell you! "

Chichi: " Yeah! It's a lot of fun! "

Bra: " Hmmm... "

Anouncer: " Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the 29th Tenkaiichi Budoukai finals! "

Anouncer: " As you all know now, the tournament is now back to it's " once in three years " format for your pleasure only, thanks to our mighty savior and Champion...Mr Satan! " Mr Satan came to the ring, holding a mike.

Anouncer: " Great news, folks! Mr Satan has decided to generously donate the prize money of 500000 Zeni to charity if he wins! That's very kind of you, sir! "

Satan: " My pleasure. " The croud cheers again.

Anouncer: " So now, without further ado, let's welcome the first two finalists, Son Goten and Pan! " And the two came to the ring.

At that moment, the giant video screen changed to show live coverage of this unusual event. The pictures showed two people, a Hawkman and a Tigirl, fighting off the New King's armed forces. A reporter was already describing the scene.

Anchorman: " Thank you Lynn. And now to comment on this terrible situation is Ravio Lee from the... "

Gohan: " Tousan! We have to do something! "

Goku: " Right. Let's get Goten, Trunks and Oob and check it out! "

Satan (to the announcer): " Excuse me. Could you point me to the bathroom, please... "

Announcer (^^"): " Well...sure. Please come this way. "

Satan: " Thank you. "

Tigirl: " Fools...Why won't they jus' let us in? " Saying this she fired an energy-dan at a Hover Tank, blowing it up.

Hawkman: " 'Cause they don't wanna see the King in his grave yet, that's why!" He fired on the armed forces as well.

Tigirl: " If they only knew... "

Hawkman: " I'm gettin' bored with them wimps. Let's break in! "

Tigirl: " I'll draw their attention, and ya open the door, okay? "

Hawkman: " I'll always love the way ya talk... " They smiled to each other.

As the Tigirl flew left around the Castle, drawing the armed forces' firepower, the Hawkman charged up an energy-dan and threw it at the the Castle's front door, instantly vaporising it. He flew through the breech he'd just made and turned toward his companion, who flew back down to him and landed.

Hawkman: " Wait a minute! Check ya Scouter! Five forces comin' at us real fast! "

Tigirl: " Who could they be? "

Hawkman: " Er...They don't look strong, just two or three hundreds... "

Tigirl: " Wimps. Let's go. "

?????: " Not so fast! "

Gohan had landed first, in front of the Castle through a pile of crushed Hover Tank debris. Goku, Goten, Oob and Trunks landed a second later.

Tigirl: " No one ya'd like ta know, spike head! "

Trunks: " Come outa there and fight if you're not cowards! "

Hawkman (suddenly boiling): " Me? A coward? Did ya just say I was a co... "

Tigirl (trying to interrupt): " Raven. Calm down, now. Raven? "

Hawkman: " ...ward? I thought I heard ya say I was a coward, wimp! "

Tigirl: " Raven! Chill out!!! "

Hawkman: " He just said I was a coward! I'm not a coward and I'm gonna prove it ta him! "

Tigirl: " Well, I suppose we could teach 'em a lesson or two. Scouters still aren't beeping, so we might as well scare 'em away... "

Hawkman: " I dunno if I'll be able ta hold myself enough ta just "scare'em away"... "

Tigirl: " If ya ever go berserk, I don't wanna be there... "

Hawkman: " Would ya turn me down, m'love? "

Tigirl: " Only if ya go berserk. "

Hawkman (smiling deviously): " Trus' me. "

Hawkman (to the Z-senshi): " Ya lookin' for a fight? "

Gohan: " Judging by your behaviour, I should've asked you that! "

Tigirl: " We got things ta do, okay? So buzz off! "

Gohan(to Goku): " They're not hiding their power at all. "

Goku: " They're pretty strong, but they're nothing we can't handle. "

Gohan: " Tousan! They have Scouters! "

Goku instantly turned to get a better look and he saw Gohan was right : the Hawkman and the Tigirl both used the well known device once worn by Freezer's troops. Could they be remnants of his empire? The Hawkman wore a bodysuit with spikes pointing out of it from the shoulders, elbows and knees. He also wore a black headband below his blond hair thrust forwards. Golden rings dropped from his ears, giving him the look of a high-tech Gypsy...More striking, though, was the pair of white feathery wings in his back. The Tigirl, on the other hand, wore much less, in the form of a strap-less bra tied around each arm and a strange skirt that locked in the front below the belly-button with a large opal gem, from where a long loin-cloth dropped below her knees. Golden bracelets glowed on her forearms and her blue scouter was tied to a metallic headband holding up her beautiful long blond hair which ultimately covered her back.

Hawkman: " Yeah, sure, whatever ya say...Hey, Gale. Doesn't that "spike head" guy in the middle tell you somethin'? "

Tigirl: " Now that ya mention it, yeah. Don't he look a lil' like Vampire? "

Hawkman: " Maybe, but I don't think that's the one he reminds of. He looks kinda...familiar, ya know. "

Tigirl: " I dunno...Let's take'em and get rid o' that King o' theirs so we c'n go back. "

Hawkman (grinning): " A little exercise... "
